Eligibility for Weight Loss Medication
You must be over 18
You must have :
BMI more than 30
BMI more than 27 and 1 weight- related co-morbidity
You must not have contra-indications : this will be discussed as your 1st GP assessment appointment
How does our GP-led service work ?
Our Medicated Weight Loss Service is for those people who need medical help to lose weight and maintain it
You will have an introductory 1hr appointment with a GP to discuss your medical history, your needs and your eligibility for medication
If eligible for medication, our GP will support you throughout your weight loss journey with monthly 30 min face to face or video reviews. At these appointments, the dose of medication will be managed.
You will also receive WhatsApp support and access the our Community.
You will pay for the GP consultation + the price of the medication
